Both The Netherlands and Bangladesh have a story to tell when it comes to our relationship with water. What better way to tell a story than with photographs and videos!
As Bangladesh celebrates its 50 years of independence and 50 years of Bangladesh-
The Netherlands ties, there can be no better common element than WATER to highlight our collective aspirations, resilience and innovation. To mark the unique relation and cooperation, the Embassy of Bangladesh in The Netherlands, together with Deltares, has organised a photo and video contest.
The contest is open to both freelancers as professional photographers / film makers in both countries and all ages.

We recieved over 1500 photo’s from almost 500 participants.

A selection of the photos will be presented in a photo book and during an exhibition that will highlight some of the great water-related developments and achievements evolving from the 50 years of Bangladesh independence and 50 years of Bangladesh – Netherlands diplomatic relations.
